Happy Casimir Pulaski Day!

Yeah, i'd never heard of him either until i moved to Chicago. There's a large Polish community here, and he was, apparently, a polish guy who faught in the revolutionary war. A hero if you will. So i'm guessing the bars in the polish neighborhoods will be going off tonight.
Many government offices are closed, unfortunatly, mine isn't (closed or government). If Chris K. lived here, he would definatly have the day off. Oh well.
Also, Sufjan Stevens wrote a pretty good song called Casimir Pulaski Day. Worth checking out.
Have a good day, and drink one for Casimir tonight.

My grandpa was born in Poland. So I will drink at the Goldstar for my grandpa who died (god rest his soul). I'm not sure what the expressions means. But it's out there.
