Dear Three-Hole-Punch,

Look, you're a "Three-hole-punch". So that's what you do,
you punch three damn holes. That's your job. My job is to do other things. Sometimes with paper, sometimes without, but whatever it happens to be, i fucking do it. You on the other hand, are having difficulties performing the one task you were brought here to do. And because of this, I my work load is increased, as i continually have to take on the duties of punching three goddamn holes. *That's your job*. Do it, would you. You're perfect for it, so why don't you work?
Sometimes you'll punch a hole or two, but never three. And when you do punch one, it never comes all the way out. So i've got to get the scissors and finish your job.
I'm trying to hold up my end of things around here, and i honestly believe that things could go really smoothly around my desk area if we could just get along. Wait, fuck that. We don't have to be friends, you just have to do your damn job when it's asked of you.

Thanks,
JDM

The good times are killing me.

It's that time of year again for me. I will keep saying I'm 25, but my nose may grow just a bit longer now. Yup, It's my birthday soon. This saturday will be the day. It should be good. I will be spending time with the one I love and drinking with the ones I like a lot. I have a feeling, this weekend will be spent like all the others, with the good times killing me!

Happy St. Patricks day

Yay, It's St. Patty's day and even better it's a weekend! This week was really long, which I'm greatful for because I'm tired of my life flashing right by me! I'm going to turn 28 next week?! what happend to being 14?! What happend to living with my parents and being a kid? I used to think "oh well, if I can't make it on my own, i'll just move home to my folks" now I think "If I can't pay rent, get another job" It's just weird to think I've past that time where living with my parents is just not an option. How am I getting so close to 30!? Any why don't I have a mortgage yet?! Life is confusing. And I really just want to sloooooow down!
Thats it, i'm enrolling in my local high school next week. Where is my Tomagachi?

Making time

After a long day of work, that wasn't particularly difficult, I decided I was ready for a Vodka Cran. I called up the one person I knew who would be down for sure, JD aka my boyfriend, and told him to meet me at our bar, not that one, the other one, Goldstar. I got there early and noticed around the bar five random people and they were all women! I'm so used to it being men that go to the bars to unwind. I was very glad to see that in Chicago, women who like to kick back a few and unwind themselves... Yay women's lib!
Anyway, I was drinking my tasty beverage and reading a mag, watching Seinfeld, and watching the growing number of pool sharks in the back of the bar. Goldstar is like a hall, rather than a bar in my view. But again, I digress. So, I was having a great time, unwinding, and my boyfriend comes, makes a cute joke about it being "ladies night" because he's now the only man at the bar. He's really witty like that.
We later decide to have dinner across the street at the pig place. Pig Place? Yeah, the Hog something or other. Oh, that place we went and had the sandwiches. Exactly. So we walked across the street and enjoyed tasty fries, and really good beans. The cold slaw was dry. Whatever.
Anyway, it was a great evening. One that is simple yet perfect. I hope everyone has a perfect evening tonight. Cheers!

PS: to Missy and her husband, Kelly, enjoy Cabo!! Luuccckkkkyyyyy.

Happy Casimir Pulaski Day!

Yeah, i'd never heard of him either until i moved to Chicago. There's a large Polish community here, and he was, apparently, a polish guy who faught in the revolutionary war. A hero if you will. So i'm guessing the bars in the polish neighborhoods will be going off tonight.
Many government offices are closed, unfortunatly, mine isn't (closed or government). If Chris K. lived here, he would definatly have the day off. Oh well.
Also, Sufjan Stevens wrote a pretty good song called Casimir Pulaski Day. Worth checking out.
Have a good day, and drink one for Casimir tonight.
